Measuring 28 1/2" x 22 1/2" sight, this tonalist landscape painting of a riverside mill was executed by the well listed American painter J.F.Murphy. With paintings in the collections of the Corcoran Gallery, the National Gallery, and the Met, Murphy was referred to as the "American Corot."
